Support our Equity Capital Markets team in Frankfurt am Main ideally for 3-6 months as a full-time intern (Start in Q4 only: 1st of September 2025)

Our Equity Capital Markets team is part of the Investment Banking Division and takes responsibility for all our activity across Continental Europe. The department covers all equity-related capital market transactions such as Initial Public Offerings, Capital Increases and Secondary Placings in the region and has built a strong reputation, being the #1 ECM bank in the DACH region with growing presence in Europe and the US.

The team in Frankfurt offers a modern, dynamic and ambitious working environment. You will benefit from direct exposure on deals and transactions and interact with our industry leaders.


Your role in the team 

During your internship in the ECM team, you will also be directly working together with the connected Origination and Equity Syndicate teams. As all your colleagues in the Investment Banking team, you will be working in the office during work hours, hereby allowing you to fully integrate in our collaboration-driven team composition, being fully involved in our live mandates and pitches, and eventually becoming a vital part of your colleagues’ day-to-day business.

What will you do?
  • Active involvement in live transactions, across the DACH region as well as other Continental European countries, such as IPOs, capital increases, secondary placements as well as support in pre-IPO financing rounds
  • Support in all transaction work streams such as project coordination with involved parties (e.g. company management, syndicate banks, legal counsels and institutional investors), due diligence, prospectus drafting and further related tasks
  • Development of presentation materials for colleagues, clients and investors, including pitch books, marketing and transaction documents, ongoing capital market updates and steering committee meetings
  • Continuous collaboration with senior management across all work streams and tasks
  • Conduct of sophisticated analyses on companies and sectors
Who are we looking for?
  • Excellent academics - degree educated at a top university, ideally within the Economics, Finance or Business field
  • Preferably previous internship experience within an investment bank or corporate finance firm and exposure to ECM transactions and projects
  • Excellent technical knowledge is essential due to the very early responsibility and exposure in this role
  • Impeccable communication skills allowing you to interact with fellow interns and other colleagues in an articulate and appropriate manner
  • Heavily analytical, driven and focused, who consistently delivers high quality work despite an intense workload
  • A team player – the success of the team depends on the frequent interactions between its members not only in Germany but across the UK, Europe and the US
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
