Wealth and Asset Management and Corporate Banking
At Berenberg, we are one bank, working together to be the best we can be for each other and our clients. So, when you choose to join our Wealth and Asset Management and Corporate Banking Graduate Programme, you will enjoy rotations through every part of our business. As well as 14-week rotations in our Wealth Management and Asset Management divisions and in our Corporate Banking teams, you can also choose rotations in different parts of the Berenberg business, based in for example Frankfurt, Dusseldorf or Hamburg.
It is a great way to learn how the different divisions work together and discover where you’d like to take your career. On each rotation you will be a key member of the team, putting forward ideas, contributing to live projects and picking up a broad range of valuable skills. So, at the end of your 15-month programme, you will be all set to for your first permanent role. The contractual place of work can be either Frankfurt am Main or Hamburg by arrangement. The rotations in the specialist departments take place across locations.

The format of the programme
Three-week induction
Your programme starts with a three-week induction that introduces you to the business and our unique approach to banking. It is a great opportunity to get to know the other graduates on the programme, come face-to-face with senior business leaders and build a valuable network of contacts across the bank.
With a series of training workshops in everything from Excel to Financial Modelling, teamwork and presentation skills, you will also start to develop the core skills that will stand you in good stead throughout your career.
Your rotations
Over 15 months, you will experience a series of rotations across different parts of our business, including core rotations in our Wealth and Asset Management divisions as well as in our Corporate Banking teams. You will also have the chance to choose other rotations in different parts of our business. As an active member of each team you join, you will enjoy the opportunity to voice your opinions, contribute to real projects and genuinely make your mark.
Then, towards the end of the programme, we will sit down with you to mutually decide on the right career direction for you.
