All Corporate Banking departments are built around personalities. Corporate client business with a twist. At Berenberg, the Corporate Clients team looks after capital market-related and medium-sized companies as well as Late-Stage Startups. From treasury management solutions towards Pre-IPO financing rounds and IPO support, you can expect anything here. In addition, you can await exciting tasks in credit analysis, loan and business management.

Infrastructure & Energy
The Infrastructure & Energy team is structuring complex investment transactions to support the development of green infrastructure. With our specialised and flexible private debt funds we are financing renewable energy projects like solar/wind farms as well as battery storage and digital infrastructure assets. You will be contributing in the clean energy and digital transition of the global society. At the same time you will help us to shape future ESG related investment strategies, while delivering returns for all our stakeholders.

Shipping is responsible for 85% of world trade and a truly global and capital-intensive industry. We are among Europe’s most relevant shipping banks facilitating all kind of transactions for more than 400 international clients. Financing existing and the next generation of low carbon emission vessels has become a mega-trend making this industry a fascinating playground for all kind of latest energy saving technologies. In this business unit, you could be dealing with major international banking and financing transactions in direct contact with maritime corporate clients.

Our Real Estate activities department is divided into four core areas. Real Estate Asset Management is the operational team for the day-to-day business of our real estate portfolio. Real Estate Fund Management is at the heart of all our property decisions, managing the funds, investor reporting and distributions. In Real Estate Investment Management, everything revolves around the next big investment In Real Estate Sales and Relationship Management, we build the crucial relationships with investors to secure the equity we need. We promote our quality products to a range of investors and work closely with other Berenberg teams.
You will be able to gain in depth knowledge of relevant real estate processes. Furthermore, our entrepreneurial approach provides a wide range of varied, hands-on activities to our team members that you are unlikely to find in other real estate companies.
Structured Finance
Structured Finance
We are one of the leading providers of financing for private equity-driven corporate acquisitions (LBO) in Europe. We offer innovative, tailor-made financing solutions to borrowers across a diverse range of exciting industries. The Structured Finance specialists in our team cover the entire value chain of an LBO transaction, usually as sole or lead arrangers, from deal origination to deep-dive credit analysis and structuring and negotiating of the loan and loan documentation. If you are excited by the challenge of delving into different business models whilst arranging and structuring a tailor-made financing, then this is the area for you.
