We recently caught up with Christina Zehnter who is part of our Wealth Management team in our Hamburg office. During our chat we talked about her experience of working at Berenberg.
What do you love about your job?
I love working with people from all backgrounds and ages. As a consultant, I love being informed about current economic, political and capital market events and analyzing their influence.
What is it that you love about working for Berenberg?
Berenberg offers employees the opportunity to take on responsibility very quickly. The flat hierarchies offer an attractive opportunity to actively shape the business area and act independently.
What characteristics do you possess that have helped you thrive in your role?
Empathy, curiosity, willingness to learn, independence, ability to work in a team, open-mindedness, communicative.
What has been your best experience at Berenberg?
Rapid personal responsibility after joining Berenberg. Fast and very good training despite Corona. Open dialogue across all hierarchical levels.
What surprised you the most about Berenberg once you started working here?
The short decision-making paths within the bank, as well as the extreme helpfulness and solution-orientation of the colleagues.
What has Berenberg done to invest in your professional or personal development?
Coaching with HR and my superiors to develop my strengths.
Has Berenberg supported you in a particularly special way throughout your time here?
I was offered very individual training for different needs such as storytelling, communication, giving feedback.
